About Peter

Peter, mein Freund; zur vergrößerten Ansicht klickt auf das Bild Peter (or PetSie how I call him often) is like me not born in Berlin. He moved to Berlin on April, 17th 1999. Often I call him PetSie, that's a little joke between him and me based on the Feminispräch developed by the revue performers named Missfits, two lovely women who make jokes about the relations between men and women. Peter was born in Göttingen in the Lower Saxony and grew up in Hanover where I met him first on November, 10th 1997. The story how I met him can be read here.

Here you find his curriculum vitae

mathematics, computer sciences and other sciences

Peter studied mathematics and computer sciences in Hanover but hasn't finished yet. But he's still very interested in mathematics and in sciences, too. Mainly he's interested in complex analysis. He's a very clever and interested person. I seldom met someone like him before. Most gay men are not as interested in those things as he is - or they are also very boring. Not him! he's gay, he's cute and very intelligently. Most of the gay men are superficial in their behaviour, only think of cocks, good-looking guys, their own outfit etc. Peter's different.
He also likes watching scientific TV-programs like nano or Quarks & Co.
Peter also likes to give remedial lessons in mathematics, mainly he prefers students from the seventh grade and higher. The seventh grade pretends to be comparable to the first years at junior high when the pupils are about thirteen years and elder. Younger pupils make him diffidently. So he prefers the elder ones. Another reason is that elder ones are less childish / infantile.
Also Peter's programming mainly using C. So he has written for instance two tools for splitting large files and unsplit them again. The first tool splits large files into pieces of about 1,44 MB so you can store it on a 3'5'' floppy disk. The second one is unsplitting them.
Once Peter had also his own Homopage but when the service was changed into a service he would have to pay for he cancelled the contract.

Chess

Peter is a passionate chess player. He loves to play against the computer or against me - most of the times I'm the looser. Perhaps he may provide his chess database some day here. I still have to persuade him. But also it's nearly impossible because the database is very impressive and several MBs in size.

Music

The third and very important part in his life is music - he doesn't play any instruments but is the consuming type, a passionate listener. Peter loves espacially classical recordings, lesser pop although he loves the Beatles, Pink Floyd and others of the 1960s and '70s. His most favourite music is Richard Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde", also the "4 letzten Lieder" by Richard Strauss and the complete works of Gustav Mahler.
When we were together in the cinema to watch Lloyd Webber's "Evita" with Madonna and when it came to the end, he was very moved ba the new composed song "You must love me", while I was very insensible saying something about howling. Half the visitors were very moved, and so was Peter - it was a really sensible scene.

romantics and poems

Peter also likes to write stories and poems, although it is several years now since he wrote his last story. Maybe he can do that only when he's very sad, what he isn't in present because of me hearty smiley.
